City Director

City Director Role Description

Overview:

The City Director leads local Love Life efforts to mobilize the Church and expand a life-affirming movement in their community. This full-time missionary role engages churches and business leaders, oversees Adoption Weeks and Prayer Walks, develops volunteers, leads ministry initiatives, and cultivates key relationships. Fundraising is a core component, with coaching and support provided. The City Director reports to the Regional Director.

Qualifications:

• Strong passion for the mission of Love Life
• Mature believer in Christ, with a heart for ministry and the ability to lead others in faith
• Proven ability to lead volunteers and church partnerships
• Experience in seasoned ministry, church, military or business leadership is preferred
• Strong communication and relational skills 
• Experience or willingness to engage in fundraising with provided support
• Self-starter able to manage multiple priorities independently
• Heart for prayer and leading others in spiritual growth
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with Evangelical Churches and Pastors

·      Invite pastors into partnership through 1-Hour Journeys and Adoption Weeks

·      Mobilize Churches to participate in Awareness, Commitment, Prayer, Fasting, Prayer & Worship Services across denominational lines and Service

Ministry Leadership

·      Lead weekly 1-Hour Journeys

·      Oversee and ensure effective execution of Adoption Weeks

·      Coordinate Sunday Launches with partnering churches

·      Maintain clear communication with adopting churches

·      Submit weekly reports manage ministry budget 

Prayer Walks and Volunteer Development

·      Lead monthly Prayer Walks

·      Recruit, develop, and equip volunteers

Relationship Development

·      Build and maintain relationships with churches, ministries, business leaders, and community influencers

Fundraising

·      Develop relationships with business leaders and financial partner

·      Raise support for overall ministry funding

Sidewalk Outreach

·      Oversee sidewalk outreach efforts, including developing and supporting a team leader and volunteers

Other Duties as Needed:

·      Carry out other duties as needed to support the mission field
